Have an urgent dental or facial concern? When your referring provider determines that immediate care is needed, we make every effort to see you as quickly as possible. If we can't, we'll help coordinate your care with another qualified oral and maxillofacial specialist.

1. We schedule your consultation. Choose whichever office is more convenient for you. Dr. Byron Black and Dr. William Black both see patients in Ripley and Charleston, and every service we offer is available at both offices.
2. You gather a few things to bring. Please bring your surgical referral slip and any available X-rays or imaging, a current list of all medications you take, and your insurance card and information.
3. You register online before your visit. Completing our secure Patient Registration Form ahead of time makes check-in quicker.
4. You meet with your surgeon. At your consultation, we'll discuss your diagnosis, explain your treatment options, and answer your questions. In some cases, treatment can be performed the same day. More complex medical histories or surgical plans may need additional evaluation first.
